"Pete, I picked up the teak on Friday morning after customs inspected the shipment. They were very nice
and did not charge me any duty. The shipment went to Atlanta, Georgia where it was switched to a contractor for Korean Air to fly to Savannah. Roush Delivery handles freight for this company. Everyone was very helpful in trying to expedite my picking up the teak including customs. I have unpacked the teak and I am quite pleased with the quality of the items purchased. I actually have it in my living room until we begin to install the teak in the boat. I was very pleased with the choice of shipping and appreciate the promptness that you sent the Items I needed. I will recommend you to anyone needing teak products.

"Hi Pete... The grate arrived and it is absolutely beautiful AND fits perfectly!!! I can't thank you enough. My old one I varnished on top. Later on in it's life, I varnished the entire grate and that is when I noticed it deteriorating. I'm wondering if I
shouldn't varnish it at all or if so only the top so the in between slots and bottom can breathe. Or... should I not varnish but

"The big box is magnificent; truly a work of exceptional craftmanship; the woodworkers of Atlanta will just go nuts over both the wood and the woodwork. The scuba tank holders are perfect and the smaller works are just what we needed for the cabin. Many thanks for the fine workmanship and the additions to the Catamaran Moerae's elegance. fyi: U.S. Customs literally took the package completely apart and threw it back together and wrapped it up with "US CUSTOMS" yellow tape; but nothing was harmed. Your packaging and protection with foamboard and bubblewrap made the difference; when the guy with the forklift brought it out to the truck it looked like he was hauling trash to the dump."

Hi there Pete, I got my tiles yesterday!!! They're fantastic. They came in Tuesday afternoon but I didn't have time to make the trek to BWI till yesterday. They went through customs in New York before they got to BWI. Anyway, the order of events (at least in DC) is that you go to the shipping office to pick up paperwork, take the paperwork to customs
(different building), customs goes and inspects the package and calls you when they're done, you pick up the stamped paperwork at customs, and then go back to shipping to pick up the package. It took a couple of hours.. but it really wasn't that bad. Anyway, I installed most of them last night. I'll send photos when I get done. Thanks!!!

"Dear Pete, I did receive the invoice and went down and retrieved the grates...all I can say is WOW...they look great (no pun intended!!)! The clearance was no problem at all, I had a 9 dollar fee at customs and a 20 dollar fee at American Airlines.... The packing was careful and when opened the grates looked wonderful!! The weather here is curently so nasty, (27 degrees Fahrenheit and sleeting, 1- 3 inches of snow expected today) that I will not get a chance to get to the boat till later this week, BUT you may rest assured that they will travel down to get a preliminary fit!!
